Director of Entertainment Jobs

A Director of Entertainment in the hospitality industry is a professional who oversees the planning and execution of entertainment programs for a hotel, resort or a similar establishment. They're responsible for the management of all entertainment staff, ensuring high-quality attractions and performances for guests, and coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure smooth operations. They should also have a good understanding of entertainment technology, hospitality management, and be able to work under pressure. As for certifications, a degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field is often required, along with relevant work experience. Previous job roles may include positions such as Entertainment Manager, Event Planner or a Performance Artist Manager. These roles provide the needed experience in managing entertainment events, negotiating contracts, and understanding guest satisfaction.
