A Security Manager in the hospitality industry is responsible for developing and implementing security protocols to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and assets. Their role includes managing security personnel, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, implementing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. They also deal with issues such as theft, fraud, and other criminal activities that may occur within the premises.
