TITLE:  Kitchen Manager, Entertainment Venue

COMPENSATION:  ~$100K on-target earnings ($80-90,000 base + 12% bonus paid quarterly)

LOCATION:  Hiring both in Mountain View and San Jose, CA

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at a *NEW-BUILD* location.  This is an excellent opportunity to help build a team and best practices from the ground up.  The restaurant is slated to launch in June, with mandatory training set to start for ~4 weeks prior. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
• Implement effective cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Maintain consistently high standards for food preparation, presentation, and taste.
• Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Empower team members to deliver outstanding dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
• Strategically manage inventory levels, optimize labor allocation, and streamline kitchen processes for maximum efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years' Kitchen Management experience within a high-volume restaurant / venue
• Previous experience in an entertainment venue kitchen environment (dining theater, bowling alley, concert hall, sports arena, etc.)
• Current ServSafe Certification and demonstrated strong leadership capabilities.
• A proactive problem-solving attitude with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment of 45+ hours per week.
