John Ball Zoo is an urban zoo and park and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation committed to the advancement of public education on the need for wildlife conservation and preservation.
Located on the west side of the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, the John Ball Zoo is situated on the ravines and bluffs along the west edge of the park. The zoo houses a variety of animals from around the world and is a significant regional attraction.
John Ball Zoo inspires our community to be actively engaged in the conservation of wildlife and our natural environment.
