Summary**
The North America Crane Technical Support Logistics Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives related to crane technical documentation, critical mission oversight and service procurement. In this role you will coordinate, review, and document lift plans to support major component exchanges (MCE) ensuring adherence with industry standards for safety, environmental health, and OSHA compliance. Additionally, you will analyze the scope of work, develop the request for quote and will be responsible for vendor selection utilizing sourcing rules and accountability.

+ Build crane supplier relationships & capacity to meet crane supply needs.
+ Integrate and develop crane sourcing processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
+ Source cranes and associated rental equipment to support wind turbine major component exchanges.
+ Develop and communicate clear and concise lift mission scope of work in a request for quote (RFQ).
+ Calculate and evaluate multiple vendor quotes with sufficient detail to effectively identify the costs, equipment and services associated with each vendor.
+ Negotiate annual and mission crane rates and provide estimates for use in quote generation.
+ Work with functional leaders to coordinate crane logistics between sites and suppliers.
+ Support the crane team to develop industry leading crane strategies to improve coverage, reduce lead-times and decrease cost.

+ Establish and continually update regional crane pricing estimates by work scope for use in FSA and transactional models.
+ Support the GEV Crane Manager to establish crane vendor and job site audit program to ensure compliance with safe EHS practices and compliance programs.
+ Support the OnShore team to define and establish crane strategies, pricing levels and vendor capability/capacity in the United Sates, Mexico and Canada.
+ Successfully facilitate field technical issues regarding lifting and rigging with GEV Crane Manager.
+ Excellent time management & organizational skills; ability to multi-task, perform in a fast-paced environment, respond quickly and document status with process management tools.
The base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $120,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Wednesday April 23rd
