District SF is looking for a new General Manager!

District SF has been located in the SOMA district for over 18 years. Located near the Oracle baseball stadium our location is a wine and spirit focused, fast casual, full service restaurant with a New American tapas-style food menu. We are looking for someone who is interested in joining our management team who is focused on a hands on attitude and cocktail creation.

As GM your role will be the day to day running of the location. This includes on floor shifts behind the bar and serving. Cocktail creation is required for the role along with quality and constancy checks through all aspects of the restaurant.

This includes:

-Scheduling for front of house and back of house staff.

-Working with ownership to handle payroll and staffing.

-Hiring and discipline as they appear.

-Training for front of house staff members

-Ordering and inventory control with monthly inventory counts

-Maintaining current and new items and updating of the Toast POS system used company wide

-Handling social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram

-Knowledge of products sold at location including spirits, beer, wine, and food

-Cocktail creation for menu, rotating throughout the year

-Work with art curator for rotation of artwork for location

-Work with other managers, wine buyer for the company, and executive chef for all need

-Establishing and maintaining relationships with sales representatives
