Job Description
Diamond Concessions in West Valley City, Utah is looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join their team. We operate out of the Maverik Center and Utah First Credit Union Ampitheater. This is not your typical restaurant or banquet job! We strive to exceed our customers expectations. The goal of the Sous Chef is to work directly with and in the absence of the Executive Chef to maintain and improve the culinary operations and both venues.
Job Description:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Manage food cost and portion control to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Coordinate with front of house staff to ensure smooth service
- Assist in menu planning and development
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years kitchen experience
- must be able to work long days as required
- must be able to communicate clearly and understand various cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
- must have very strong technical skillset; knives, butchery, charcuterie, etc
- exceptional cooking skills
