We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our beverage program and restaurant operations, ensuring an outstanding member experience.
Position Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the beverage program, including inventory control, vendor relationships, and staff training, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and outlets. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the beverage program, including wine, spirits, and beer selection, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement beverage menus that align with current trends and member preferences.
- Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service standards.
- Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and menu integration.
- Maintain vendor relationships to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Plan and execute special events and functions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar role, preferably in a country club or upscale dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including wine, spirits, and craft cocktails.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management and POS systems. (Northstar Club Management Software)
- Certification in food safety and alcohol service (preferred).
